Day 9

In true California style it was over 100 degrees today!!! But that's ok because I've missed the heat and for once it actually is starting to feel like summer (funny how it is actually the end of summer and I'm saying that.) I spent today packing up my room because I am moving into an apartment on Friday (yay!) thanks to my incredibly helpful friend on campus. I am really looking forward to the new place and with any luck, I will not be moving again for a while! However the good news is that because I've moved around a lot in the past 2 years I was able to pack up all of my stuff into one tiny pile of boxes and suitcases so I think it is pretty obvious that I am getting better at packing! I guess that is probably the one and only good thing about moving every three months...

Anyway, tomorrow I'm helping my friend move into her new place and then Friday she'll be returning the favor by helping me so it is going to be a busy few days but I am ready for it!!!
