Day 52

Yesterday was the start of the week-long No Impact Project (my small attempt in making this world a more habitable place), and ironically enough I found out today that I was chosen as a member of the Student Sustainability Team at school (I had my interview on Thursday.) Anyway I am really excited about this position because it will allow me to learn more about sustainability, conduct workshops and give presentations, to students, staff, and anyone else interested based on what I know. I think it is going to be an awesome experience and despite the fact that I am already super busy I am ready to take the challenge!! I just think it's funny timing given that this is the week I am being more conscious about recycling, wasting energy, etc. Is this a permanent lifestyle change? Who knows.

Don't forget to smile, it's Monday.

  1. You're on a role Candice! This sounds really cool. I know you'll do well! For sure you are going to have to go to 2 pages now for your resume....

As far as a permanent lifestyle change, it takes about 4 weeks or 30 days for a new habit to form.....

BTW, did I tell you they started serving Black Bean burgers at the Bank?! :)

  2. How exciting! I can't wait to try one when I get back :) Oh and since I'll be seeing you in about 4 weeks I will let you know how my "lifestyle change" is going...
