Christmas came early this year...
My mom and I decided to celebrate since I will be heading home after finals are finished and it made me realize something: You can put all your energy into establishing traditions and emphasizing the importance of a single date as a "holiday," or you can choose to look at it a different way, and be happy by celebrating the more important thing - life and love. It's cool to have untraditional celebrations and I love the fact that going with the flow and being open minded to taking things as they come is a more satisfying way to spend each day. On that note, Merry Christmas everyone!
