Did you know that positive thinking can actually directly affect your health? According to a health study that we discussed in my communication class, "Pessimistic language in early adulthood appears to be a risk factor for poor health in middle to late adulthood. A study conducted found that people who described the world in pessimistic terms when they were younger were in poorer health during middle age than those who had used more optimistic terms to describe the world."
Moral of the story? Eliminate negative words from your vocabulary. And who knows, maybe your headache will go away too! It's incredible how powerful the mind really is.
