No more excuses!

Ok so we all do it: Make a "resolution" or "goal" to work toward and inevitably (or at least, usually) a few weeks go by and there are a number of reasons why you can no longer continue working toward that goal. It's so much easier to do that rather than change your habits! I speak for myself because I've done it plenty of times - so much so in fact, I picked up a copy of "This Year I Will..." by M.J.Ryan at the library tonight. It turns out this book was just the inspiration I needed! A lot of it so far reminds me of "The Secret" - the mentality that you can have anything you want if you can picture it in your life, but one of the quotes that stood out the most was: "Most people can do extraordinary things if they have the confidence or take the risk. Yet most people don't. They sit in front of the TV and treat life as if it goes on forever."

Well we are all aware that life doesn't go on forever, and that being said, what do you want to spend it doing?! I deliberately avoided turning on the TV tonight in an attempt to spend my time doing more productive things after reading that quote! My next step is to choose one or two goals that I want to work toward and incorporate them into my life as habits. Wish me luck!

Lastly, here's a great song that I wanted to share:

  2. That is an idea that has been written about throughout the ages...it is interesting that so few people actually live it. They think about it, they talk about it, but they don't live it. Live your dream! Dream your life! It is ALL possible-
